ABOUT NIDO
Nido is a specialty Mediterranean Wine Shop and Market located in Mt. Pleasant, Washington, DC.
Nido, which means nest in both Spanish & Italian, was a restaurant Erin had before opening Mola (which formerly occupied the space). It was also named for her mother, Robin. The logo was designed through the help of friends & family, and its always held a special place in Erin's heart. It felt right to revive the name, and bring the heart that went into Nido to the Mt. Pleasant Neighborhood.

Nido is owned by three local women who shared a passion for food, wine, and community.

At the onset of the COVID-19 Pandemic, all three women were working in restaurants and had to adapt to a shifting environment. From this pivot, they hoped to build a space where they could continue to serve and feed their local community as well as their individual passion for food, beverage, and hospitality.
